I was at the Blessed Sacrament today, and came upon this quotation by Pope John Paul II again, and could not help but share..
We can contemplate and come closer to Jesus when we gaze upon Him in nature, in the love and companionship of dear friends and in the silence and yearning of our heart. He truly does know and love us more than we know and love ourselves and others.

I opened my bible tonight and read the scribbles on the front pages.. I had written a few words that came to me in Maryland USA in October 2009 at the National Shrine of America, where my mom gifted me with an Ignatian RSV, brown leather bible. This gift, and the words that came to my spirit that day, is alive more than 8 years later, and is still bringing me hope.

Tonight I prayed to the Lord for understanding and clarity.. He gave me these words from the book of Proverbs. We should often pray for the gift of wisdom to help us understand and follow our purpose in the ‘duty of the present moment”.
PROVERBS 2:1-181
My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding: yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search or it as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield who walk in integrity, guarding the paths of justice. Success is a journey, not a destination
I once thought that at the end of each journey, I would find rest, comfort, peace and contentment. I now know that my journey never ends, and the choices I make along the way – my disposition, and grace determines whether I will have peace or, will still be looking for it.
I lost my job last Friday. Somewhere along the way, I found the grace and peace to find joy. I prayed for a miracle, and today, I am back on. A temporary assignment, at the same workplace, wondering what happened, and knowing. Deep in m heart that someone is watching me, and loves me dearly.
