God cares for all the needs of those who follow Him..

Jeremiah 17:7-8

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose hope is in the Lord. He is like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream: It fears not the heat when it comes, its leaves stay green; In the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit.God cares for all the needs of those who follow him. Lord, God of hosts, happy is the man who trusts in you.”

I chanced on this beautiful verse from Jeremiah in the Liturgy of Hours  (IV) during my Tuesday afternoon stay at the Blessed Sacrament at the Sacred Heart church. As I sit  before the Lord each week, it is a tremendous blessing to  Seek..Listen.. Renew and find Peace.

“Give us the courage to enter the Song..”

“Here in this space, a new light is streaming, now is the darkness vanished away.. See in this space our fears and our dreamings, bought here to you in the light of this day..”

Truly blessed and inspired by this worship hymn written by Marty Haugen….Felt a bit anxious today and the beautiful lyrics of this song has calmed my fears and blessed me with joy and peace.

Transformations

“Be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you may be able to discern what is God’s will, what is good, pleasing and perfect. You must be renewed in mind and Spirit, and put on the new man”.   Romans  12:2

Success is a journey, not a destination

I once thought that at the end of each journey, I would  find rest, comfort, peace and contentment. I now know that my journey never ends, and the choices I make along the way – my disposition,  and grace determines whether I will have peace or, will still be looking for it.

I lost my job last Friday. Somewhere along the way, I found the grace and peace to find joy. I prayed for a miracle, and today, I am back on. A temporary assignment, at the same workplace, wondering what happened, and knowing. Deep in m heart that  someone is watching me, and loves me dearly.

“We are pilgrims on a journey, we are travelers on a road, we are here to help each other, walk the mile and bear the load”

My blog is all about journeys. My journey as my family and I relocated our lives, children, home and future to a new land – Australia, with a suitcase each in hand, our small photography Business, a hope, a prayer and faith in His will for our family. No friends, no family or relatives, no job, not even a home or place to stay waited for us in this land of plenty. But as pilgrims on a journey, we met people and angels to lighten our load.
