The hidden path

I found the excerpt below so very comforting and true. We don’t often see beyond the difficult path, the uneven road – blocked by doubt, uncertainty, anxiety, pain or difficulty. But with the eyes of faith and the by the grace of God, we can be assured that there are always crystal clear waters ahead, and that we will find the peace, joy, assurance and security that is found in His face, his guidance and presence in our lives. God is always near to us. With Him, we are made whole.

Blessing at work in my heart!

These beautiful words were taken from “The Word Among Us” magazine today. This reflection resounded with me, after having recently survived an accident that left me physically, mentally and emotionally unharmed, but spiritually reflective. What matters most in my life? Have I been living it to my fullest potential? What am I wasting time on and where do I need to focus? I hope that you find your purpose too, and like me today, are thankful for every day that we get to see and experience!

Lord, give me the ‘prosperity . . . like a river’ that you promise (Isaiah 48:18). Let the riches of your mercy wash over me again and again, like the waves of the sea. Help me to trust that I have been restored to you and that my name will never be blotted out from your presence. As you did for the Israelites, give me confidence and trust that as I listen and follow, I will receive the blessings of your life at work in my heart.”
