The gift of today

The Lord has thoughtfully crafted each and every sunset, each and every afternoon.

I often forget to thank Him for crafting my life, and don’t realise how much He is truly present in each and every moment of my day.

“The heavens proclaim your wonders, O LORD,
and your faithfulness, in the assembly of the holy ones.

For who in the skies can rank with the LORD?
Who is like the LORD among the sons of God?

Hallelujah He Is Risen!

“The power of death did not contain the lamb, the pains of sin and death, did not bind Him down. O death where is your sting? Now the tomb is empty, O death where is your victory now that that Jesus lives?

An Easter Prayer taken from the Liturgy of the Hours, Easter Season

God our Father, by raising Christ, your Son you conquered the power of death and opened for us the way to eternal life.

Let our celebration today raise us up and renew our lives, by the Spirit that is within us.

Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ your son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever, Amen.
